To take as much of something from a person, thing, or situation as possible. The company used to make all sorts of creative games and movies, but in the last few years they've just been milking their most popular franchise dry. Dan's been using his knowledge of my affair to milk me dry, threatening to tell my wife if I don't pay him whatever I can.
