1. To pull someone or something physically out (of some place or thing) through the force of suction. A noun or pronoun can be used between "suck" and "out." I used to love sucking out the cream filling whenever I got a Twinkie in my lunch. It's really gross, but the only way to clear your baby's nose when they're sick is to suck the snot out with a nasal aspirator.
2. To abruptly or effectively remove some positive or desirable element or aspect (from something else). A noun or pronoun can be used between "suck" and "out." The film's terrible acting really sucked out any and all dramatic tension for me. Moving in with your significant other is an exciting step, but having to navigate things like bills and chores can sometimes suck the romance out of the relationship a bit.
3. In poker, to manage to win a previously inferior hand based on the community cards turned over in the flop. He went all in with a pair of jacks and was called by a hand with a pair of aces, but he ended up sucking out when a third jack appeared in the flop.
