subtweet

A tweet (post on Twitter) that obviously criticizes or ridicules someone without including their name or Twitter handle. A subtweet is sometimes called a "subliminal tweet." I had a run-in with my sworn enemy today, so I definitely think that last subtweet of his is about me.
