to affix something onto someone or something. The baggage clerk stuck a label onto Jimmy as a joke. Jimmy stuck on the label.
1. To be very fond of someone. Used in the passive: The doctor is stuck on the new medical intern.
2. To be dedicated or committed to some plan or idea. Used in the passive: My boss is stuck on the idea, despite its obvious drawbacks.
