slang Drunk. An uncommon variant of "sozzled." We all got up on stage to sing karaoke, so sossled on beer and cheap tequila that we couldn't even get the words right. My uncle always turns a bit maudlin whenever he gets sossled, which is all too often, unfortunately.
slang Very drunk. I'll come out and have a beer or two with you, but I don't want to get sozzled tonight—I've got to get up early for work tomorrow. We had three bottles of wine between us, so we were all pretty sozzled by the time we finished lunch.
