To do something that displays or demonstrates that one has good or sincere intentions. I know it's an unusual arrangement, but we'd like to show good faith by giving you the first two months of your payments upfront. It's hard to trust you after everything that happened. I'd just feel better if you signed a contract or something to show some good faith.
