1. To return (to someone, something, or some place) very quickly, as by running. He ran back over to give me a note. I have to run back over to the office to get some important documents.
2. To review, revisit, or redo (something). I ran back over the contract to see where they stipulated the number of vacation days I could take. Do you mind if we run back over those lines again? There are a couple words my characters says that I keep tripping over. Let's run back over your testimony from earlier, as I want to clarify something you said.
