A lengthy journey to some destination traveled exclusively by car, especially when the journey itself is part of the appeal. I've always wanted to go on a road trip from coast to coast, but none of my friends have ever been interested. We were all set for our road trip to the Grand Canyon when the engine on my car suddenly gave out.
