ride

1. noun, slang One's vehicle, especially an automobile. You can park your ride in our driveway, if you want. Whoa, nice ride! Is that a Corvette?
2. noun, vulgar slang An act or instance of sexual intercourse. Primarily heard in Ireland. It's been nearly six months since I last had a ride. I'm starting to get desperate! We had a few drinks at a local bar and then went back to my place for the ride.
3. verb, informal To constantly criticize someone. The boss is still riding us hard over that printing error in the last issue, unfortunately.
