To change some amount of computer programming code into a comment using the command "REM" (short for "REMARK"), thus disabling it within the program without deleting it altogether. A noun or pronoun can be used between "rem" and "out." "Rem" is sometimes spelled in capital letters. I really wish you would stop remming out so much of your code, because you're leaving behind a cluttered mess. Why don't we just REM the lines out for now? That way we can reimplement them later if we want.
