For a law enforcement officer to recite a list of one's legal rights to them upon their arrest, especially the right to remain silent (often known as one's "Miranda rights"). Make sure you read the suspect his rights as or before you arrest him. They forgot to read her her rights, so her confession was deemed inadmissible in court.
