1. adjective, slang Having the look or manner of an expensive preparatory school student, typically characterized by wealth, snobbishness, and an adoption of current fashions, trends, or styles. I hate the preppie clothes he's been wearing ever since he started hanging out with the cool kids at school. He's a bit preppie, sure, but he's smart and is actually really interested in classic literature.
2. noun, slang A person who affects the look or manner of an expensive preparatory school student. She's just another preppie who get's a get-out-jail-free card anytime she screws up, huh? Why do you spend your time with that preppie? He's such a jerk!
