1. Something obtained from one. Does not have to refer to a physical item, but rather time, effort, connection, etc. Every time I go out, the fans always want a piece of me—pictures, autographs, a chat, the whole nine. I appreciate my fans, sure, but I definitely miss anonymity sometimes. Now that she's famous, everyone wants a piece of her. They see her as a real money-maker and nothing else.
2. A physical altercation with one. Hey, just what is your deal? You want a piece of me or something?
