1. Focused on or related to the crux or essence of a particular topic. Nothing that you're saying is on point! You're just wasting time with mindless rambling. It's a dry topic, so I try to stay on point when I speak about it at conferences. Otherwise people tend to get bored.
2. informal Outstanding or perfect. A: "I definitely think she'll win the talent competition—her ballet routine was totally on point." B: "Not to mention en pointe, har har." Ooh, your eyebrows are on point today! Did you use a brow filler?
