1. Crazy or insane. I think you're off your box for changing careers this late in life, but, hey, follow your dreams, I guess. He's off his box if he thinks he can get that engine fixed by this weekend.
2. Heavily intoxicated by alcohol or drugs. Do you remember last night at the bar at all? You were off your box! None for me, thanks. I can't get off my box tonight.
