1. In the sport of curling, a hit on a stone on the point closest to the shooter. Two well-placed nose hits in a row put the Canadian team in prime position for a third consecutive gold medal.
2. slang The inhalation with one's nostrils of smoke coming from the burning end of a cigarette, especially one filled with marijuana. They said that taking a nose hit would give me a better buzz than smoking regularly, but think they might have just been jerking my chain.
