No foreseeable end or conclusion to something. The phrase indicates that one expects the thing to continue indefinitely. People keep dumping their trash on the curb all around the neighborhood, and there seems to be no end in sight! As far as I can tell, there's no end in sight to the abuses these people will suffer at the hands of the dictator.
