An official spokesperson for someone or something; someone who speaks or answers questions on behalf of someone else. I worked as a government mouthpiece for a number of years, but I got sick of having to spin the truth to line up with their narrative. Ever since his arrest, the CEO's attorney has acted as his mouthpiece.
