1. To reside in a house, apartment, etc., over someone or something. I live over a musician, and he's constantly keeping me awake with his practicing. I lived over a convenience store when I was a college student, so I never had to go far to get household essentials.
2. To remember very vividly a particular episode of or sequence of events in one's life. In this usage, a noun or pronoun is used between "live" and "over." I really regret the way things ended between us, and I've been living the argument over and over again in my head. I keep living that moment over trying to figure out if what I did was wrong.
3. To (hypothetically) relive a specific portion or period of one's life, typically in order to do something differently. In this usage, a noun or pronoun is used between "live" and "over." If I could live high school over, I definitely would have hung out with a group of friends that might have been a better influence on me. I would definitely move to Japan to teach English for a couple years if I could live my twenties over.
