kit up

To furnish someone or something with clothing, equipment, furniture, accessories, etc., for a particular purpose, especially that which is new or desirable. A noun or pronoun can be used between "kit" and "up." Often used in passive constructions. They kitted the office space up with brand new desks, chairs, and computers. The team came onto the pitch kitted up in new boots and jerseys. Primary schools are getting kitted up with fancy new tablets and laptops as part of an initiative by the city council.
