kit out

To furnish someone or something with clothing, equipment, furniture, accessories, etc., for a particular purpose, especially that which is new or desirable. A noun or pronoun can be used between "kit" and "out." Often used in passive constructions. They kitted the office space out with brand new desks, chairs, and computers. The team came onto the pitch kitted out in new boots and jerseys. Primary schools are getting kitted out with fancy new tablets as part of an initiative by the city council.
