1. slang To die. We were so lucky to avoid that massive accident—we might have kissed the dust!
2. slang To fall down after being struck. We were all shocked to see that big goon kiss the dust after just one punch to the face.
3. slang To be defeated or overcome. Don't worry, when guys like him get power, they always end up kissing the dust before long.
