1. To be physically in front of one's face. When I looked up, the bug was right in my face—I almost screamed. It was in my face the entire time but somehow I never managed to notice it.
2. slang To be in close proximity to one while interacting in a physically aggressive manner. The salesmen are going to be in your face the moment you walk in the door, so remember to say you're just browsing. The ref was right to eject him—he was in his face the whole game!
3. slang To be aggressively unavoidable; to be thrust upon one's attention. I hate talking to opinionated people—their views are always in your face. I hate when pop-up ads are in my face when I'm just trying to look something up.
