1. Mostly; to a great extent; in large part. While we've all been working very hard, our team's success on this project is in good part due to Sally's efforts.
2. Without offense; amiably or good-naturedly; in good humor. (Especially in the phrase "take in good part.") My friends sometimes tease me about my interest in calligraphy, but I've learned to take it in good part.
