1. A man who lives apart from his spouse for long periods due to a job location or other circumstances. Janet has had to travel a lot since she got her promotion at work. I'm happy for her, but I've been feeling like a grass widower lately.
2. A man who is divorced, separated, or estranged from or abandoned by his spouse. John became a grass widower after his wife left him for a younger man.
