1. To become crazy or irrational. He's gone out of his senses if he thinks this plan is going to work! After yet another sleepless night, I'm starting to feel like I'm going out of my senses.
2. To become not fully conscious or coherent in thought. I always go a little out of my senses whenever I take these new painkillers the doctor prescribed. He drank so many shots of tequila that he had gone completely out of his senses by the end of the night.
