1. To engage in or seek out pleasurable, hedonistic activities with great enthusiasm or intensity, especially dancing, drinking alcohol, and using drugs. Primarily heard in UK. After the stress of exams, we were all eager to go out and give it large on Friday night.
2. To verbally abuse, harass, or intimidate. Primarily heard in UK. I know that you weren't happy with your meal, but you really went too far by giving it large to the poor waitress.
3. To boast or impress. Primarily heard in UK. I'm not trying to give it large, but my monthly salary is more than you earn in a year!
