To become involved in someone else's successful activity or do something similar in order to achieve the same success. Jim makes a fortune by reviewing products in online videos. I wonder how I can get in on the act. The gaming console's revolutionary motion controls were a worldwide hit, so naturally every other company started getting in on the act.
