foot voting

Showing one's approval or disapproval of something through one's presence or absence. Used especially in reference to disapproval displayed by walking out of a place. Our foot voting showed him just how disgusted we were with his inappropriate comment. If you want to support local businesses, foot voting is one way to go about it—show up and buy stuff!
