President Rodrigo Duterte has declared September 8 of every year a special working holiday to commemorate the
Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
President Duterte has declared August 12, Monday, a regular holiday across the country in observance of Eid'l Adha or the
Feast of Sacrifice.
While
feasts may have served whole geese, the birds required carving before consumption.
