draft into (something)

1. To conscript someone into military service. A noun or pronoun can be used between "draft" and "into." Many young men were drafted into the army during the Vietnam War.
2. To enlist someone for some purpose. A noun or pronoun can be used between "draft" and "into." Unfortunately, the boss drafted me into planning this whole conference on my own.
