A single question that actually contains two separate questions within it, especially when the wording makes a straightforward answer for both aspects difficult for the respondent. A reference to a firearm with two barrels, thus allowing it to fire two projectiles at once. A: "Do you think the government is doing enough to deal with homelessness and high crime rates?" B: "Please refrain from asking double-barreled questions like that."
