1. To have a different opinion, view, etc. than someone or something. I'm sorry, but I just have to disagree with you on that point. I think the opposite is true. Our administration vehemently disagrees with the judge about this issue, and we intend to appeal as soon as possible.
2. To dispute, be opposed to, or have a differing opinion about something. I understand what you mean, but I disagree with your interpretation of what happened. I don't see how you can disagree with the report—facts are facts!
3. To have a negative physical effect on someone. The food at that restaurant always seems to disagree with me.
