To start counting from a particular number. You start counting from zero while I hide, and then when you get to 100, you come find me—that's how the game works.

count from something (up)

to something to say or list the numbers from one number to some other number. Now, count from 100 up to 300 by threes. Timmy can count from 1 to 40.
