sold cober

A humorous misstatement of the expression "cold sober," intended to sound like it was pronounced by a drunk person. The phrase is often used to imply that one is or was not sober. Hey, I'm sold cober. I could totally drive us home—I just don't feel like it right now! What do you mean I was out of line? Why, I was sold cober and acted like a perfect gentleman!
