clearance sale

A retail sale characterized by very steep discounts in order to eliminate items in stock, as due to a company's liquidation or to make room for a different inventory. The department store is holding a clearance sale following its announcement that all 75 of its retail locations would be closed by the end of June. Our New Year's clearance sale is now on, and everything must go! But hurry, once these deals are gone, they're gone for good!
