euphemism Used as an intensifier with question words to express extreme puzzlement, incredulity, indignation, etc. Primarily heard in UK. What the chuff were they thinking? Seriously, where the chuff is our ride? He was supposed to be here an hour ago! I don't know who the chuff you think you are, but I do not appreciate the way you're speaking to me!
