dated slang An Englishman. Also used as a term of address. Primarily heard in Australia. A group of lads from London came through this morning. Bloody chooms think they can just spend a week's holiday in the outback with nothing but a tent and a few bottles of water! G'day to you too, choom. I heard you hail from Yorkshire—I've a cousin living out that way!
