I've tried all the usual phrases, like "Were you born in a barn?" but they don't know what I am talking about.
However, thinking about it, the phrase "...born in a barn?" is rubbish, because if you were actually born in a barn, and spent your formative years thus accommodated, you would know from harsh experience that it is vital to close the door, otherwise you freeze to death.
