blow past (someone or something)

1. To move past someone extremely quickly. We were all stuck in traffic when some jerk on a motorbike blew past us on the shoulder.
2. To exceed some threshold or limit very easily and to a great degree. The sales for our latest product have been blowing past our expectations. You've already blown past your budget, so I'm not allocating anymore funds.
