To reveal something to another person. I don't know Adam that well, so I was surprised that he bared his fears to me. She finally bared the truth to me, after weeks of lying.

bare something to someone

to reveal or disclose something to someone. I have to know a guy pretty well before I will bare my innermost thoughts to him. Our criminal involvement was bared to the judge.
