The game was alt-tabbing out whenever the mouse scrolls to my second monitor, so I've had to install software that disables that functionality during gameplay. 3. To cause a computer user to switch unintentionally from the window of their game to a different one. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "alt-tab" and "out." These blasted Windows notifications always alt+tab me out of CS:GO at the worst possible moments. I'm trying to play, but something on my computer keeps alt-tabbing me out! What the heck is going on? A: "Where did Ed go?" B: "Something must have alt-tabbed him out."
