A very risky, dangerous, sober, difficult, or monumental thing to undertake. It would be all one's life's worth to go out into the streets alone at night. It's all your life's worth to try and find a seat on the train at rush hour. Wow, you were able to find a parking spot at the mall on Christmas Eve? That's usually all your life's worth.
