air (one's) opinion

To make one's argument, beliefs, or ideas on a given topic known, as in a discussion or debate. If you'll just allow me to air my opinion, you might understand where I stand on the matter. We aren't going to make a decision until everyone here has had the chance to air their opinion. I find Jenny's husband a bit trying at times. He always insists on airing his opinion whether we want it or not!
