1. informal A disreputable, dishonest, or unscrupulous person. Sarah's first husband turned out to be a total heel. Thank God she had the sense to leave him when she did. The salesperson was a real heel, using every dishonest trick in the book to secure a sale.
2. In professional wrestling, a wrestler who portrays the villain of the performance. I firmly believe that "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was the greatest heel in all of the WWE, and you'll never convince me otherwise. She's the classic heel, the wrestler that everybody loves to hate.
