Prone or apt to do something (typically because one likes it). Often used in the negative. I hate talking on the phone, so I'm not a great one for returning phone calls. I'm a great one for leaving my wallet lying around the house. Thank goodness you found it! Mom's a great one for criticizing everybody else for doing the same annoying things that she does, like interrupting people.
