1. An enjoyable vacation or visit to some place. A: "Did you guys have a good trip?" B: "Oh yes. It was so relaxing!" Have a good trip! See you in a week! No, we didn't have a good trip—it rained every day. Who wants to go to the beach in the rain?
2. slang An enjoyable drug-induced state, often one caused by LSD. I didn't have a good trip last time—that's why I swore off the stuff. Man, I had many a good trip back in the '60s. But those days are long behind me. You must have had a good trip—you look very peaceful.
