front man(redirected from a front-man)
1. The lead singer of a band. We need a charismatic and energetic front man—someone who will really get the fans excited about our music.
2. Someone whose role is to represent an organization favorably to the public, especially when its image is negative or has negative aspects. I think they just want you to be the front man for their corrupt business dealings.
