big shop(redirected from a big-shop)
A planned, regular shopping trip for groceries during which one buys many things. Primarily heard in UK, Australia. Luckily, we had already done our big shop for the week before the storm hit, so we were fine. I bet doing a big shop that you plan out each week would really help you to cut down on impulse buys.
