1. noun, rude slang Someone who is tough or aggressive. That guy is such a badass—I'm a little scared to talk to him, honestly. You don't have to be a badass all the time, you know. You can show some vulnerability.
2. adjective, rude slang Describing someone or something that is tough or aggressive. This usage can be complimentary. That guy is so badass—I'm a little scared to talk to him, honestly.

1. mod. tough; bad; belligerent. (Usually objectionable.) Stop acting like such a badass punk!
2. n. a tough guy; a belligerent and arrogant person, usually a male. Don’t be such a badass all the time.
